How
We analyze medical imaging using computer vision and deep learning to help physicians cope with work overload and to avoid mistakes.Medical Imaging
Medical Imaging is a technique for creating visual representations of the interior of a body for a clinical analysis. It leverages imaging technologies such as X-ray radiography, magnetic resonance imaging or positron emission tomography. We develop software that analyzes medical images in order to detect and describe pathological changes in organs.
Computer Vision
Computer Vision is a computer science field that aims to gain a high-level understanding of images and videos. We apply computer vision techniques in order to analyze medical images and build predictive models.
Deep Learning
Deep Learning is the state-of-the-art method for building a data representation. We use novel architectures such as Residual Neural Networks or Fully Convolutional Neural Networks for training machine learning models capable of understanding medical images
Technology Stack
Python is our programming language of first choice. We build our machine learning modules around a set of libraries:
- Caffe
- PyTorch
- Theano
- Lasagne
